Without fear of complex planning and spatial solutions, we have placed many functions in the Mozgi bar & shop: a large bar, a restaurant, a DJ-place, a store, a recording studio. This interior embodies a steampunk aesthetic that captures the spirit of the era of the first industrial revolution, the emergence of steam engines, and horrific mechanisms that spew puffs of smoke. At the same time, there is Victorian stiffness nearby, eared “grandfather’s” chairs, wood paneling on the walls, velvet tablecloths. Historically, that time was a wild mixture of “retro” and “futurism”, which is reflected in the interior of the Mozgi bar & shop. All equipment – from furniture, lighting, painting, iron doors with intricate mechanics to small details – are designed by us exclusively for this establishment. There were no props for all the theatricality of the space: all things are real – right down to the water pipes participating in kinetic “sculptures”. Materials: metal, wood, leather, glass. There are many ingenious solutions in the interior, but we consider the main feature to be the complex structure of the bar, which passes through four rooms in a circle, acting as if it were the axis of the spatial composition.
